Armor Adjusting is owned by Property Consulting Services, Inc. (PCS). PCS started as an independent adjusting firm in January 1996. Armor Adjusting was formed due in part, to what we perceived as a very troubling trend with ill consequences for the consumer. We have seen less and less emphasis, by insurance companies, being placed on good customer service, knowledgeable staff and fair settlements. We have seen ever-increasing practices leading to smaller and smaller settlements with less customer satisfaction.
Processing insurance claims should have an eye towards compassionate treatment and fair claim settlements. However, we saw that corporate profits and expenses are all that matter to insurance companies. We see that they will take whatever means are available to them in order to pay the consumer as little as possible. Therefore, we started Armor Adjusting to assist those without the mega resources afforded to large corporations. We will be your mega resource and help even the playing field.
The President of PCS became an independent adjuster in 1991 when he worked for the premiere adjusting company at the time. He has undergone extensive training and acquired much knowledge in policy coverage, construction practices, methods, estimation and pricing as well as damage assessment. We have worked in many parts of the country and have handled the full gamut of claim types to include water damage, mold damage, fire damage, ice/snow, puff-backs, hurricane & tornado damage, wind damage, hail damage, flood damage, smoke damage, lightning damage, theft/vandalism and vehicle damage.
At one time or another, we have worked for most major insurance companies and most major adjusting companies. In our estimation, we have handled over 25,000 insurance claims of varying types and amounts of damages ranging from the very small into the millions of dollars-from wind to flood, from water to fire. We have been qualified by courts of multiple jurisdictions as experts in the insurance field and determining the cause of damage.
The 25+ years of vast experience has made us more familiar with the ways insurance companies pay out less than they should. We want to share this expertise with you to ensure that you receive a fair claim settlement. Not all of our competitors have the “inside” information on how insurance companies can underpay your claim. This puts them and you at a disadvantage when they try to assist you with your insurance claim for property damage.
We have received many accolades from our past clients and employers which attests to our knowledge, level of expertise and professionalism. Although we had previously represented insurance companies, we went out of our way to assist policyholders, which has garnered a substantial amount of Thank You letters and made some waves along the way with the insurance companies. In general, the public has a negative perception of insurance “company” adjusters. To receive so many heart felt thank you notes is relatively rare. This shows the level of compassion that we bring to the table.
